ECI Group (ECIG) is an innovative new company headed by Mr Robert Itaoui. The group’s foundation project is the building and establishment of a unique new setting for young children and their families in Granville, Sydney Australia. The purpose of the new centre will be to provide a high quality, state-of-the art facility for inclusive early childhood education and care. We aim for this centre to provide the highest quality in inclusion for children of all levels of ability. Long day care classrooms will be staffed by professionals qualified in early childhood education, working in conjunction with specialist in therapy and other areas as required according to children’s strengths and needs. Education and care spaces will be complemented by flexible community-use spaces, with specialist services provided by therapists and others.

This unique purpose-built offering for inclusion in action will be housed in an architect-designed building that will become a landmark in Granville and beyond. Consideration is being given to children with all levels of talent and ability through unique, sensory-aware indoor and outdoor spaces for both adventure and movement as well as quietness and learning. Environmental considerations will mean that children and families will have access to nature-based play in environments that will include plants, trees and water. Inside, quiet and sensory-aware spaces will be made available for children to “chill-out” as needed.
